University of Alfashir (Sudan) Visit of the research academic delegation from the Doha Institute for Studies

Prof. Faisal Al-Qassim Ahmed received the Rector of the University on Monday morning, October 10, 2022 at his office and in the presence of Dr. Bahaa Al-Din Juma Haroun, Director of the Center for Peace, Development and Human Rights Studies, and Dr. Saeed Kozy, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, the academic research delegation from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in the State of Qatar, headed by Dr. Ghassan Al-Kahlouti, Head of the Master Program in Conflict Management and Humanitarian Action at the Institute and accompanied by representatives from the International University of Africa, Dr. Salah Al-Daak, Qatar Charity Society and the Qatar Red Crescent, His Excellency welcomed the delegation and got acquainted with their program for the university and stated that the university has a great role in society and introduced them to the faculties of the university Its students, the Faculty of Graduate Studies in particular, the Centre for Peace, Development and Human Rights Studies, the reputation of the International University and its alumni wish the delegation a good stay in the Sudan.
Dr. Ghassan Al-Kahlouti, head of the delegation, also stressed that this meeting will be followed by other meetings within the framework of joint cooperation between the university and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, on the other hand, the delegation headed towards the Center for Peace, Development and Human Rights Studies and in the joint session of the Center, Dr. Bahaa Al-Din spoke where he gave a full explanation of the role of the Center and the activities carried out on peace and conflict resolution programs, and Dr. Kozy, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, welcomed the delegation, wishing that the visit would be crowned with success and meeting with them. On behalf of her colleagues, the student / Tahani from the State of Qatar spoke about their thanks and appreciation to El Fasher University, the Center for Peace Studies and the College of Graduate Studies for attention and appreciation, the delegation held a panel discussion on the challenges of peacebuilding in Darfur where the discussion was facilitated by Mr. Emad El-Din Ahmed Salem and with the participation of graduate students and graduates from the Peace and Disaster Studies and Political Science Program.
