Sami Mohamed Sharif (Ph.D.), Electrical Engineer Professor. Dean, University of Khartoum, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. He has supervised the University of Khartoum Information Technology and Network and acquainted computer skills in operating systems, programming languages, database management and open source systems. He participates in a number of executive, planning and technical committees at university and national projects such as e-government project, National office Record Network project, Sudanese Universities Virtual Library Project. His fields of interest and research: are networking, switching and tele-traffic engineering, radio-wave propagation and electromagnetic, information technology and communications, electronic systems and ICT economics and regulation. He is member in professional societies related to information/science/technology
