Description

Dr. Adil is a professional with experience in project management, sustainable management of water resources, waste and environmental management issues and conservation. Possess excellent experience in developing programmes and formulating policies & procedures within the budgetary limits. Proven experience in planning and management of integrated agricultural projects, agricultural water management, water conservation policies, integrated waste management and waste processing techniques. Educational experience in conservation of natural resources and Hands on development of appropriate infrastructure as related to climate change issues. Special interest in sustainability of natural resources and the related challenges. Mainstreaming sustainable development goals concepts and applications in education, research and community services.

Key skills and expertise include: Sustainable Management of Water Resources; Integrated Organic Waste Management; Waste to Energy; Unsustainable Consumption; Biochar Production; Environmental Site Assessment; Natural Resource Management; Clean Development Mechanism.

Current Interests:
Environmental sustainability and the related challenges; Sustainable development of natural resources; sustainable production and consumption; appropriate technologies for Municipal Waste Processing, especially food waste, green waste and medical waste. Converting Food Waste to Animal Feed, Use of Pyrolysis reaction to treat biomass, Oil sludge, sewage, waste oil and waste tires. Waste to energy and production of biochar from wood waste.
